Hi Cathryn - i was wondering if maybe those episodes are really just feeling some of those quakes? Have you checked the times against the map/list?

I know I've also had the same sort of thing prior to quakes and I've also been feeling quakes when they are far enough away that you don't feel the shaking but still feel the vertigo.

And then here's a good location for getting long/lat:
http://www.indo.com/distance/ - this site tells the lat/long for a given location and if you put 2 locations in it will tell you how far they are away from eachother.
