A remark on the multi tone tones - I haven't experienced that myself. Always a tone that starts out at its loudest and then dissipates. So the volume changes (always decreasing) but not the pitch.

Just some more random thoguhts: There has to be some reason so many people hear these tones - there's something going on - I'm convinced its not Tinnitus as the tones are not constant. So has anyone seen any research on these tones? Are they related to pressure?

I tend to have sinus problems - allergies and such (LA Smog) - do others that hear these tones have any sinus conditions?
