I wouldn't count on any large earthquakes in the South Pacific region for the next few days. All this solar activity is making the plate boundaries too soft. Continue to expect many 4 to 6 magnitude quakes though.

If there is a large earthquake, it will be off the beaten path, someplace where 6.5+ earthquakes are not common.
