How I got kicked off EEC |
http://www.skywise711.com/Image1.gif The link is to a GIF image on my website. The image is a screen capture of the contents of the one thread on EEC that I participated in up to my last message. I spliced this all into one large image. I have all the HTML code saved, but it would have been far too much work to edit it so that all the links didn't point back to EEC. I have NOT edited the content in any way. There are (were) more posts after that, starting with Arai and continuing between him (her?) and Roger. I had saved two images of the discussion thread at different times and interestingly at least one of Arai's posts disappeared at some point as well. But that is all irrelevant anyway. I presume I lost my posting privileges because of what I said and not what someone else said. The last message that you see is the last message that I was able to post. After that, my posting priviledges were apparently revoked. I did still have my account though, and could even log into it to change any settings if I so chose. You'll notice that I used an avatar, a picture of one of my cats as a kitten. Since I was no longer allowed to post, I wanted my messages removed. I didn't even bother to ask as I figured my email would go into the bit bucket with no further consideration. The avatar was setup as a link to an image on my web site. So, in order to get my posts removed I changed the image that was linked to to one that had the text message "vinegar is snake oil", in reference to posts made by Cal about the supposed anecdotal health benefits of vinegar. It wasn't long after that that my posts were deleted, as I hoped they would be. More recently I noticed that the entire thread no longer seems to exist, or at least the links I had saved to the thread no longer work. So there you have it. Judge for yourselves. I have nothing to hide.
