>Yes he has and I agree with him but David isn't saying that. I certainly am. Go back and read my posts and look at my web site. I believe you have colored glasses on with regard to my posts because you feel offended by my assertiveness. >many geologists have agreed that tidal exerts some force but its a small part of the whole earthquake picture. Many geologists, yet no finalized model. Geologists..., seismologists..., they also agree that the current models don't fully explain plate tectonics. They need to look at tidal forces a little more closely. The evidence is right in front of them if they would look at it in the form of bathymetric maps. Canie, look at a bathymetric map of the Pacific Ocean and tell me you believe this is the work of convection and why. How can convection design the topography we see in the Pacific Ocean today? The plates can only be moved from the bottom or the top. The force that moves the Pacific Plate has to be either convection or tides. There is no other possibility! Look at the geometry, look at the physics, look at the geology. It's either from the tides or its from convection! Show a study or provide some kind of reason or logic to support the convection model of plate tectonics that conforms to the topography of the Pacific Ocean today! You can't do it. You're lost and confused on this matter. All you can say is "I don't believe you."
