Since I'm a new kid on the block.....and my focus goes in a different direction.....I'm going to add my couple cents worth, then do my best to stay the heck out of the argument.

First....I consider EDG one of the most decent
human beings it had been my good fortune to meet. I profoundly cherish his devotion to this
work....and his desire to save lives. He is one of the people whom I feel gives one hope for the future of humankind.

I have been into this earthquake thing since October 1987. Actually, I had noticed that quakes seem to occur, when a close friend and I
had certain emotional episodes, back in the mid-80s...but didn't get serious about it till the Whittier Narrows quake of '87. One of the first observations that I made was that I heard a sound, like hundreds of crickets chirping at the same time, at the time the quake occurred. In time I came to recognize that the chirping sound would precede activity in SoCal or along the Mexico coast.

Now know of many different sounds for different areas. Small note....certain areas of China cause some folks to hear 'voices'. Soon realized a link with solar activity.....when I noticed a symptom, called canal pareisis, occuring about every five minutes one afternoon. Took a bit to figure it out....ran across an article that mentioned the sun 'rings'....roughly every five minutes. At some points can 'hear' the sun crest the horizon. Found a book about solar 'noise'.

In all the discussion about ear tones, I haven't noticed any mention of calcium....or of microseizure activity in the brain....or of serotonin....or of Meniere's. No mention of VIncent van Gogh. No mention of hyperacusis. No mention of hyperglycemia....which has a
related to the liver and to serotonin and, probably, serotonin stress syndrome. No mention of positive ionization of the atmosphere.

Bob Shannon....I thank you for all your kind words. Wish I could live up to half of them, but very much appreciate your saying them. It's the sort of thing that can help one deal with very bad moments....,give one a lift when it sems that the whole world is going mad with hostility and hatred. (Which I suspect, BTW, is related to
red aurora....at least in some small way.)

The tone of the messages about plagiarism is not my cup of tea....and certainly not at this time....
but I admire very much the effort all of you are making to better understand biological sensitivity.

Nancy
