Hi David,

I have been unselfishly sharing my ear tones with message boards for about three years. But you know, those in the science community have not yet given any credence to this, so I think its time to put it out there and let it have its turn in new theories. Believe you me, there is no fame or fortune in geosciences. Ask any of them and you'll find they don't make much money, even those who are highly papered.

My only objection to EDG using this material is that it is still in the formative stage and not meant to be put out into the world for use by him. I don't believe I have had any global ear tones, so I doubt he would find them of much use, but from some of his recent posts I see that his idea of an ear tone for a given area is much different than mine.

He mentioned that someone's ear tone that was posted here which said it was less than five seconds might have been a precursory signal for the Peru earthquake. From my research with my ear tones and noting those of others, that is totally impossible. As close as I can calculate, the length of the tone signifies the mileage from the hearer. It travels at approximately 37 miles per second. Given the distance to Peru, a tone should last around 30 seconds to be in the neighborhood.

I am sorry to hear about someone walking away with your invention. There are those out there who would steal you very essense if they could. But, you have to do as you see best and if letting it go is your way, then that is what is best for you.

I am sorry you misunderstood my purpose. It is to give ear tones a place in the record of precursory earthquake signals. More than likely it will not go very far, but you have to start somewhere. In looking at the larger picture, by airing it out in public it remains possible that someone who knows far more than I, just due to experience may be able to solve the timing mechanism problem. That would be a major breakthrough in this area.

Don and I work a lot together using his data and my ear tones. Though he can tell the date and location, magitude for his is difficult. But when my ear tones arrive, I can tell by the volume and possible epicenter which then gives him a lead about the magnitude he needs. So together we can see the results of his work and mine together in the hopes that we are laying the foundation where more qualified seismologists and geologists can set aside their differences and work toward a common goal, ie: an accurate prediction.

Welcome to the board....Petra with Don
