There was a Mb 5+ earthquake a few minutes ago in the region of Baja California
south of Yuma Arizona. Several board members have made forecasts for this
area in recent days including Canie (following the earlier Gulf of California quake);
Don and myself (as a FFA from the New Britain quake of Oct 31, 2001 and as
a result of the strong geomagnetic storms at the end of November). I'll try to pull
some of these together before I leave and post them. The point is that was was
some prior indication of this event but the event occurred several days later than
any of us expected.
