Hi All,

As most of you know, I often strive to find something positive out of most negative situations. Sometimes it is like being a candle in the wind and yet at other times, it is that little bit of light that makes the road easier to travel.

Just two years ago, I had my own earthquake, worse than Loma Prieta, but in the road I traveled I tried to understand and learn about this so I could teach other women, that domestic violence in any form is unacceptable. Last year 350,000 women appealed to the National Coalition for Women for assistance. This is a true demonstration of how great the need is for some real clarity in daily issues on this topic.

As our readership from this board is rather vast, I have little doubt that someone who reads this post knows someone who is a victim. If you do, send them the link attached and throw out the light of education. Believe me when I say, there are no other known road maps on the web.

They say it is better to give than to receive. In places in the heart, this is so. My gift this Christmas is to place a light on a dark path, the one to freedom for some women. I pray it has a ripple on the pond effect and a year from now, I'll know I was a small part of the whole.
