I have found that it is much easier to pick out a quake precursor if one understands the ethos of the land and by your description---You seem to have a good handle on that!

We all know what TOPOS is..genesis for topography..and GEOS for geography. ETHOS was the most commonly used methods for knowing the land. Ethos is neither TOPOS nor GEOS...It is the "feeling of the land by having been, lived, hiked, treked, on that area and the feeling one gets when they think of the area or return to the area." I have found over the years that knowing an area of land, getting feelings developed over it, one can see when there is a change coming.

Some people have total ethos and ar not aware of it. You seem to have good conenctions, not by just going to a place but in developing emotions about a place...It is very super feeling!
