Re: Livermore, California Earthquake Forecast

I agree Don! Mary in Livermore had an ear tone also and she was not specific in any prediction but it was noted a few hours before the quake...My distance calculator on the alert page says:
39 miles (63 km) (34 nautical miles)

That is the distance from Livermore to Morgan Hill BUT the Q was north of Morgan Hill:
The magnitude 3.2 event occurred 14 km (9 miles) N of Morgan Hill, CA.

Now that put radius very close to your usual 40km..and by the way...working with km instead of miles can be a big pain in the b**t. I really like miles instead AND there is no continuity in reporting stations...Some use decimal and others use navigational...it is a mind trick for me. I know it can be converted easy but it is another filtering problem, taking the mind off of the main event. At any rate...Your hot Don...I am impressed! Also Mary..She is VERY good at this stuff...It may come from a few years in really trying to understand the mechanics behind this. I am not certain how Mary got started but she has made some quatum leaps in the last couple of years.
