Now I am going to have to go look up Quincy! One of the problems with living at 49 North for so long is that I am starting to forget my NorCal geography! Not fun...I have driven most backroads and roads that no person would take in NorCal...Now I know Quincy...OK Hold on I am going to open another window and look...I think this might be a marker area for me...be right back...

OK..Quincy eh? Well make sure to look at the waveforms for the area...USGS has this nasty habit of not having a geologist review some of the quakes up there and then say it is an anomoly with telemetry (*Did I mis-spell a lot of that?) Try saying it 3 times... So Quincy is near Portola which has a history eh? Your going to the known as the aftershock guy pretty soon. I have a hard time with aftershocks...but you seem to get them nailed...Hey Don when you get the feeling for a 6M or larger, let me know, 'specially if it is Washington State---which begs the question...Why no WA? I am having a hard time with this place...Too much gap between quakes....How about you?
