I am planning to recommend that something a little more ambitious be done. I feel that a formal earthquake forecasting research group should be established. It would probably have to be run by a university research group rather than a government agency. Plans are to post a note about this subject matter as soon as possible.

I suspect that the people associated with the following Web site would probably not be interested in that type of research.
