Hi 2 Cents,

A few years back this board was comprised primarily of ear tone sensitives and as a group we were much like a group of hound dogs on the trail of the fox. Little escaped this group. We had one month where our group accuracy rate was 95%. Not bad, but unusual.

Yes indeed, working with groups of sensitives does define the area in question, but the defintion I've given you to date is the most comprehensive method I've derived from what I've learned in the past three years. Though other tone sensitives I know do hear well and can locate quakes the same or better than I, no one has developed a method such as mine.

Do not focus so much attention to the sound itself as that is misleading. It is the combination of the data (the length of the tone, the sound volume, the ear that perceives the tone and the window) that forms a forecast that is correct which is most important. It has to mirror the same prediction qualities as a scientific prediction; date, time, magnitude, and location to produce a valid prediction.

Needs work, which is what Don and I are doing presently. He is cataloging the tones and is able to use it along side of his forecasting method and we are finding the two compliment each other quite well.
