Hi EQF,

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but these theories, even in tandem, are old news. Most, if not all, have been discussed over the years on this list as well as other boards.

I'd venture to say that the theories are more valid than not, but to claim them as new would be doing a disservice to those who originally came up with them.

Hope you accept this in the spirit in which it was intended. Please note that some of these theories were initially proposed by members of this board searching for possible answers to the big Q: "Can earthquakes be predicted?"
