I don't feel a 2.8 means anything all by itself in the Parkfield area. There have been a large number of quakes in parkfield since 1966 and none have triggered a 6. The debate also continues about what effect the 1983 Coalinga quake had on upsetting the timing or Parkfield. Just looking for forshocks to a Parkfield 6+ isn't enough. I think we'll have to find some other clue to make a prediction.....
