Our friend, Don in Hollister, has many, many sayings and in regard to age he frequently says, "it's not the age, but the mileage that counts."

I went the distance yesterday with my new physical trainer at the local health club I joined. I was so tired when I came home last night, I ate dinner and went to bed. Now waking at 4:30AM, I feel old as well. I can now feel muscles I didn't realize I had. LOL

Mind you, I hardly did anything, but when you've done nothing for so long, even a little feels like a lot. I know I can speak for accident victims everywhere, in saying to be two years down the road and finally be able to start working on physical recovery means so very much.

I don't think age it inself really is important. There are so many people who accomplish many things in their later years. I love to read stories about women who got their college degrees at 83 or so. I keep a mental list of women of inspiration and they are what makes me try harder to achieve what I would like to in life. Eleanor Roosevelt is one of them. In the end, the United Nations appointed her an Ambassador to the World. From a very shy little girl, how amazing.

Today, in this, what seems to be a little place, with a few contributors, is not what it seems at all. Thousands of people read what we write daily and that I find very interesting.
