I'm glad to see someone with enough know-how to keep Lowell in his place! I'm not quite up to it myself.

I'm not a statistician, I'm a P-picker and programmer from the USGS (retired) but I ran the program to monitor and evaluate predictions for awhile and had a lot of help from real mathematicians, notably Dave Perkins.
