Hi All, I was keeping a close eye on the area and noticed the last 3.5 was reviewed by a seismologist before it was placed on the USGS map. I guess they are keeping an eye on the area as well. == PRELIMINARY EARTHQUAKE REPORT == Southern California Seismic Network: a cooperative project of U.S. Geological Survey, Pasadena California Caltech Seismological Laboratory, Pasadena, California Version #B: This report supersedes any earlier reports of this event. This event has been reviewed by a seismologist. A minor earthquake occurred at 8:45:04 AM (PST) on Tuesday, November 13, 2001. The magnitude 3.5 event occurred 5 km (3 miles) SSE of Bombay Beach, CA. The hypocentral depth is 2 km ( 1 mile).
