Cathryn,

Don't be too hard on yourself - or on your competitors.
We were all pretty close!!! For example, my prediction was for
an event of Ml 2.5-3.5 within 50 km of 37.1N 122.0W between Nov. 7 and
Nov 11. NCSN has the following event listed:

ML 2.5 2001/11/10 16:18:08 36.9N 121.4W 4.9 WNW of Hollister, CA

This event is within the magnitude and time range of my guess,
and is about 2 km outside the 50 km range.
Since you and I had the same epicenter, and Don's was only
different by 0.1 degrees latitude, seems to me that these predictions
are not total failures. Don't give all the marbles to Roger, I would
say the winner of this contest is a draw - the earthquake did not
occur as a total success for anyone, but it was not a total failure
either, as Roger had implied. I'll keep my marbles on this one,
thank you. What about you Don? or Pam? or Roger?

My prediction had been:

I love it when we get a little competitive spirt going on a prediction - so
here's my guess -
I thinks this event will be Ml 2.5-3.5 between November 7 and 11 at Don's
epicenter.
(37.1N 122.0W +/- 50 km)
Any other takers? Should there be a prize for the best prediction?
