Hi Lowell. I'm not sure if can handle this keyboard as it still kind of hot from the blistering I received from Petra. O course this means war.

The quake near Thousands Palms was a known quake in the sense that I was about 98% sure that it would occur. However I didn't think it would occur this early. It may be that the Anza quake transferred enough stress to that area that caused this quake to occur when it did. It's going to be interesting to see if the one I have forecasted for Twentynine Palms occurs early.

That little cluster of quakes near Coalinga are very near the location of the 1983 6.7 quake. They may be aftershocks from that quake, but I always have a problem with this. When are they no longer aftershock, but are quakes in there own right, and when do they become foreshocks to the next quake??? I don't think anyone really has an answer. Of course if we were to have another 6.7 quake there tomorrow then there would be on problem. They would be foreshocks. Take Care…Don in creepy town
