Yes - there is a bit of a problem with sea water intrusion into the groundwater... They have an elaborate set of wells pumping fresh water back down to keep the sea water out.

I did note up above in the New Britain quake that the momma kitty was being a little odder than normal today.

She seems content at the moment though. They like to sleep on my nice warm monitor and they were being little twins up there.
