Well... we know there will be afterchocks - this is the only time that CalTech gets into the quake prediction business.

I think their systems are having problems though as I've noticed a lag time in the southern cal office's quake maps and I don't see any quake messages sent to the California Emergency Digital Information Service.

Its OK to predict aftershocks - I would just think the probability of success changes and must be taken into account.
