Re: New York City earthquake felt in Manhattan tonight

Interesting. I know someone who had a dream a few days ago.

In the dream, they were near the top of a high rise building (skyscraper) in a large city (believed to be New York). They were coming up some steps and as they entered the floor they heard some people (around the corner) near an elevator complaining that it was stuck between floors. A warning bell could be heard beeping.

Then they approached a window area only to find the window was missing altogether...the building was no longer "square" (bending window frame angles) and it was presumed that it had just fallen out. Outside could be seen a large river going through a big city metropolitan area. Then the person felt the urgent need to exit the building by way of the steps without sparing not even a second.

After they had the dream they just figured that maybe it's orgin came about through all of the 11 Sept. TV coverage, etc.

Maybe the dream content is relevant here...with this quake news, maybe they ought to be checking the buildings near the epicenter of this M2.6 for sway damage or something...? Can there be a long delay between a quake and the structural damage to a building?
