I was just looking at my globe, after considering the effects of sub-solar and anti-solar activity, and realized that most of the areas which have quakes have a corresponding fault system on the opposite side of the planet (anti-solar.) Califonia/Afganistan, Japan/Northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge, Peru/Indonesia, are just a few.

Has anyone else noticed this?
