Not knowing the details of your fault or area, I wouldn't even venture a guess
as to what you felt last night Petra. But look at the Hockley Texas seismogram
today if you want to see what appears to be ground motion related to incoming
CME (see post above).
In a related matter, two colleagues here at the center reported that sliding doors
in their new houses which had never stuck before yesterday were sticking when
they got home. One called the contractor and was told it had to be due to ground
motion in the area. But we did not have an earthquake nor a storm yesterday,
so where did the ground motion come from? The houses are separated by
about 5 miles.
