I have the counts for each degree of longitude from mag 6+ quakes in the NEIC catalog, 1973-2013.

When can we see your count of signals for comparison?

I'm guessing that your numbers will plot to a fairly flat line since you have peaks all over the place whereas the quakes are very irregular, ranging from zero to 128.
