AGU hosts e-posters but I don't know how many are there and have not looked for them. I'm guessing that people don't have to log in, but I don't know that either. My last paper was "open access" and there is some movement towards doing that.

Are you sure you can't get access to E-journals as emeritus to USGS? (assuming USGS has such access).
