I too am noticing a slight delay, but only on the order of maybe 10-15 seconds.

Hmmm... Maybe we NEED to switch forum software. The way this code works there's no reason for it to delay postings. It should be immediate. The only thing I can think of is that the new post process is getting bogged down by something. Maybe too many messages? Or too high a message number?

Before posting again, make sure you do a forced refresh of your browser to make sure it's not just reloading a cached page. I get this problem on many websites. I know on Firefox, hold down the shift key when clicking on the reload button OR while pressing F5.
