In fact, I agree with you; money should go toward retrofitting rather than predicting.

But individuals can' afford to do it and businesses are primarily concerned with profit and won't spend money on something that only MIGHT happen any time soon.

I don't expect you to be right 100%, I'm just telling you where you are currently, which is nowhere near good enough to be claiming success.

Since you've spent 15 years to reach this level it seems obvious you're headed down a blind alley.
