Yep. Sometimes it's enough to be able to use a tool and use it effectively without knowing why it works. Nothing wrong with that.

Maybe Amit is dismissing the answer because he doesn't know why it works? Seeking further understanding is a good thing.

As for my tome, it seems I'm drifting off my intended course. I covered odds of exactly X heads out of Y tosses, and X or more heads out of Y tosses. This results in graphs centered, and skewed completely to one end.

I then moved to dice rolls since the odds of an individual roll are no longer 50/50. However, I find the graphs are the same. I wasn't expecting that for some reason.

So, I need to step back and look at the problem again and rethink how to get there with examples. Need to make sure I'm understanding the problem before I try to explain the answer!!!
