Linux for example is hard because they follow the unix lead in making up cute names for things which give you no clue to what it is or how to use it.

Xbasic seems to do things for no good reason. Prolog seems to be that way. I know it has a purpose but why is it necessary to tack on things which are not needed?

TB has a huge number of external libraries but you only invoke them when you intend to use them.
