just glancing at it, 135 hits in 193 predictions with 3 day window for a hit sure looks like chance to me. USGS says 150 M6 and higher quakes per year since 1990: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eqarchives/year/eqstats.php So, in a majority of 3 day windows you expect to have a M6 or higher quake. Amit, if Roger does not want to do it, you should generate the random numbers yourself and report on it. No "cherry picking": you have to report on ALL the random numbers you generate, not just the one that have the poorest match. Also Amit: if Roger does this, and random numbers do as well as you do, are you going to accept this or ignore it? In the past you simple ignored posts of science related to retrograde motion and gravitational attractions of planets (for example the figures that Brian provided). Ignoring reality eventually annoys me in all areas: see my post below on the USA. Ignoring reality is damaging and can be dangerous. Chris
