Hi Canie,

The following proposed disaster warning system would probably work much better. It would cover a much wider range of disasters. And the work could be done for very little money as governments and even amateur computer programmers around the world could contribute to the project.

Information regarding that project was sent to high level U.S. Policy Makers as far back as 2012. The advice was unfortunately ignored.

As the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water. But you can't make him drink!"

Considering the fact that the State of California just by itself could have easily developed that proposed disaster response system years ago, do you still think that the California governor has a good sense of direction?

These are personal opinions.
