Hi Todd,

I remember that "jello" feeling also. I was on the second floor of a building built in 1870 and after the main shock I sat down on my office chair to make a phone call and that's when I noticed that the floor was still moving. That's when I decided to get out of the building.

But with 14000 aftershocks that "jello" feeling didn't leave, and that in itself says a lot. This area in the Santa Rosa plain has a very high degree of ground shaking intensity during earthquakes, so while those aftershocks may not have been felt by many, it was just enough up here where old Terra Firma didn't feel quite so for a long time.

One thing for sure, not very many people know much about the RCF and the one person in the know doesn't want to talk to us regular folks about it. Getting solid information is very difficult these days. But, setting that person aside, we gotta go with what we have and as I said previously, well, there are clues. Unfortunately, very, very short term clues.
