I'm giving a talk on faulting along and off the southern California coast at Lunch on Tuesday at Caltech. Working on it now. see link for abstract.

I was in France for 12 days working on stuff. I was going to post but thought it would be more about me than about the science. I took the TGV train from Paris to Marseille (3 hours). I was going to say how great French trains on when an ordinary train derailed and killed a few.....then the Spanish high-speed train disaster.

Was working with French research scientists and a Turkish student on North Anatolian fault.
