A small problem with the prediction listing has been brought to my attention.

When you pull up the list of predictions, it shows a list of those messages that were posted as predictions. And of course clicking on one of those messages in the list brings up that messages.

The problem is if there are replies to that prediction. Clicking on a reply from the message in the prediction listing results in a "404 file not found" error.

THE REPLY IS NOT MISSING OR DELETED. All messages still exist exactly as they were when Canie was still running the board.

It's just due to the way the prediction archive was implemented. Nothing wrong with it per se. It works quite well for what it is.

But after thinking about possible solutions and realizing that any fix actually causes other problems (editing of messages, broken links, etc...), I've decided the best thing to do for now is to do nothing and simply advise everyone of the problem.

A caution note has been added to the top of the prediction list, along with a brief suggestion of how to find the replies. (basically, just find the original post in the main board or archives, or if you want manually cut/paste/edit the URL of the reply)
