As I stated in my earlier note on this, USGS can be ORDERED by higher level governemnt officials to create some program that will generate consistent search data. But, someone or some group has to explain to the higher level officials what the USGS people are supposed to do.

So I said, why not discuss proposals for this on this bulletin board. If no one wants to expand on what I proposed in that earlier note then I will probably go with the plans I outlined. But then by default they and you are leaving it up to me to determine what the future along these lines will be for you.
