Those people seem determined to make life difficult!

Not only did they change the current earthquake Web page format, they changed the NEIS search data format. And if the new format were just numbers and spaces like in the past that would not be a problem. But they had to go and mix tabs in with the spaces.

That was an easy fix for my Etdprog.exe earthquake forecasting program. But I also rely on a Country Names program Roger wrote using TrueBasic. And now that one needs to be rewritten as well. Or, I will have to read the data and convert them back to the old format so that Roger's program can read them!

There should be a law that requires that anyone working for the U.S. government in any capacity has to take some type of test every few years to make certain that he or she hasn't drifted off into space somewhere (humor intended)!
