ID and I saw a really bright thing out the window. I'll have to ask her if it was last night or the night before. I figured it could be bright meteor or meteorite. Since it was out the window, we only saw it for maybe 2 seconds.

The linked article this morning said there was a bright meteor seen over large parts of the east coast. It did not say what time. It says greenish and that is also what we saw.

We saw a similar one in the heartland a month ago but did not see reports of that one in the local paper.
