Probably just coincidence...although I have long been of the theory that stress changes in one spot can have fairly rapid (in geologic terms!)results in others.

I did check some more on Netherlands quakes, and note that they have had a couple in the past 20 years. I know that no spot on the planet is immune from quakes. It always intrigues me when I see quakes in an unusual spot--or forming an unusual pattern!

Wish that I knew more about this!
