I did some checking but could not find a download Web site for TalkShop or any of the other WWWBoard clones except the one that I am working with. And it dates back to somewhere around 2006.

So, if a board development effort is going to get underway the first step wouild probably have to involve an agreement on which board program to modify. My modifications should work with probably any of the WWWBoard clones.

As I said in another note, I believe that I have a copy of the EarthWaves board program stored somewhere on my computer. Canie's Internet Server sent a copy to my by accident once. And I stored it somewhere without fully realizing exactly what it was. I could go looking for it if that would accomplish anything.

My password checking modification is I believe probably completely different from the routine the EarthWaves board program uses. I am guessing that the EarthWaves board password check routine is the same one as the administration password check routine written for one of the WWWBoard clones.
