Oman region at 20' N by 58' E ( very soon )

Solomon Islands at 10' S by 160' E

South Pacific at 64' S by 85' W +/- 5'

Calculation for ETA = Solomon Islands at 04:40 ut (7th) +/- 10 minutes.

I am declaring Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 29' N by 34' 30' W as a miss, an event of M 5.1 occurred at 18:11 ut in the Mariana Islands on the opposite longitude at 145' 32' E ...

A new anomaly has appeared in the ACE data, and is partly responsible for the data stream disruption (my interpretation), so I'm adding it to the list under the same conditions.

Mediterranean Sea at 35' N by 29' E ... approx. half way between Crete and Cyprus

An event of magnitude 7.2 occurred today (12th Aug) in the Loyalty Island region at 173' 6' E longitude, one degree of opposite longitude to 5' 25' W.  I don't think I could have emphasised this bearing more during this prediction! Am I reading to much in to this ? definitely "NOT" ....                                                                                                                                                                                    Duffy

Many of today's data streams are indicating strong responses from the Med at 29' E ... an observation.

For curiosity, I ran some numbers and the results are as follows;

At 09:40 ut on the 14th, the moon will reach it's lowest lateral position for this month at 18' 29' S , and will remain at this latitude for the next 6 hours and 44 minutes ... at this time, the centre of the moon is on longitude 164' 40' E, it's right limb (relative to map) will be on 173' E Loyalty Islands (location of the 7.1 on the 12th). The left limb of the sun at this time is on longitude 29' E.

At 16:24 ut, which represents last minute of the moon's South lateral position, the centre of the moon will be on longitude 67' 13' E ... the opposite longitude being 112' 47' W. The final combination is the time distance from the left limb of the sun, to the left limb of the moon, will be equal to the length of night at the sun's latitude (D - zone distance).

Probably means nothing, but it looked good on paper !
