I won't go quoting a bunch of facts as I'm sure we all know them, but let's also remember the people who lost their lives.

Indeed. Watching the horror of that Tsunami and the later Japanese disaster was amazing. I don't think that we can even imagine how awful the loss must have been.

Now I watch humans causing their own disasters...and it seems that the innocent are the ones who suffer most. I recall that half of the folks who died in 2004 were elderly.
