It is well-known that the earth can "ring" after great earthquakes; these are called "free earth oscillations". I don't know the different periods, but very easy to Google this. So, not clear if you have anything new, or else whether you have anything new that is well documented. You don't provide enough information for me to know what you are talking about. But, my first reaction is to be skeptical.
