Hi all,
was ~0 F (-18 C) and fair amount of wind the other morning and I walked down to the waterfront and took the picture below of Arctic sea smoke, Newport Rhode Island in the background. It was only very cold that one night and morning, the bay water is about +39 d F (+3 C), and my prediction on prediction list of the Bay partly freezing over is not looking very likely. As stated in that "prediction", it was not based on science.
