I usually refrain from posting my thoughts on stuff like this, but one thing about this story compels me to express an opinion. In reading the CNN article about this tragic event, it was noted that authorities were examining online social media postings possibly made by the alleged shooter talking about his plans for the shooting. Apparently others were actually pushing the guy to commit the act, and were even providing suggestions on how to carry it out.
My opinion: If this information turns out to be true, then each of those who participated in that discussion in such a fashion should be up for a murder charge for each death.
This is no different than Charlie Manson, or Osama Bin Laden. They may not have 'pulled the trigger' themselves, but they actively promoted and supported those who did.
