Kettleman City swarm?

Hi folks:

Just noting apparent swarm of 3s near Kettleman City. Haven't seen that before (that I recall, given my elderly brain!). Ideas?

You beat me to it. Yep. Noticed it.

Looks like a cross fault, if the locations are accurate enough. There's certainly faults in the area just based on the geography, even though there are none mapped that I'm aware of.

Here's a link to a USGS history search of the area, 1900 to present, 500km radius. There's a large cluster "upstream" where the Coalinga quakes occurred in the 1980's.

CAUTION, it's a big list of quakes and your browser may complain. The USGS certainly throws up a warning about "too many quakes" which you can bypass.
