My combination posted in " Three Sea's " thread appears to have landed on the Rat Islands, Aleutian Islands as a 5.5 at 16:28 ut, bearing 179' 32' E. Space data is showing that longitudes 112' W and 29' E are still very much active (my interpretation). I couldn't match my usual equation method to this event, but I did find something close !
Rat Islands event occurred at 16:28:57 ut .... Position of sun and moon at this time was 66' 6' W and 66' 2' E respectively. Distance between both orbs equates to 132' 8' ... half equals 66' 4' ... add or subtract 66' 4' from either bearing and you arrive at 0' 2' W ... the opposite longitude being 179' 58' E ........ Intriguing !
