My paper that includes Newport-Inglewood fault was published online June 24. It will be officially published in August issue of Geosphere. The abstract is available at:
http://geosphere.gsapubs.org/content/ear...1.abstract
I think the paper will be freely available from the journal 1 year after publication.
We will see whether it gets any press attention then: my work generally does not get attention. One conclusion of general interest is that the fault systems in the paper, between Newport Beach and San Diego, may be less capable of major thrust earthquakes than suggested by other publications, and the local tsunami hazard from these faults (only) would thus also be less.
I'll send Brian an email.
